David Piehl writes: Andy has hit this nail right on the head. What is even more disturbing is the fact that Urban Ventures was unable to raise significant private dollars for the project, even with the suburban churches in tow. I don't believe that faith-based organizations should get public funding, but it's salt on the wound when the public won't contribute in significant amounts when given a choice. Art Erickson, the Urban Ventures president, I believe, has also become CNIA president in the wake of the Sabri scandals, and co-opted CNIA assets (two apartment buildings on 4th Ave) for the benefit of Urban Ventures' programs. Not cool! David Piehl Central __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Hotjobs: Enter the "Signing Bonus" Sweepstakes http://hotjobs.sweepstakes.yahoo.com/signingbonus REMINDERS: 1.
