I've never heard of such a beast -- a Stop Sign Camera. But if they exist, one installed at my neighborhood corner issuing $100 tickets (for example) could easily generate $10,000 a day in fines just ticketing just the most egregious offenders.

So I certainly support red light cameras, even though I am generally opposed to enforcement of traffic violations solely to generate revenue, which all too often is the motivation for speeding ticket traps and probably even red light cameras. I'm sick of lawless, arrogant and/or incompetent drivers terrorizing city streets and pedestrians.
