Well, include me in folks on the list of the 10 minute wait. I got so frustrated every day for awhile that I now just automatically go Cedar and get on to downtown and to get over to Seward I jog through my neighborhood over to 28th and north on Hiawatha and then right on to 26th. I don't know why but you hardly ever have to stop for the train doing it that way. And that idea came from list member Mary Jane Mueller who told me the trick as I was expressing my extreme frustration with the lights. After spending all those millions of dollars to build this great train and now it is a crying shame that this is happening but maybe it was inevitable - only the spirits up in highway and transit heaven know for sure.
Is it part of a bigger plot? Who knows?

I have sat through 3 light changes to make a left hand turn. I don't know
how many minutes each light change is, times by three..but it seems lengthy.
