Let's look at the value of Nicollet Island to the city. If we do the
city would then have to get a real estate evaluation of ALL the land on
the island. The city would then sell the land under people's homes to
those people. Any other land which is not already city property would
likewise be charged the going rate for any land they "hold." Then it's
fair to all.
