I suggest to use (audio) tulp plugs for the connections. Tulp plugs have two
big advantages:
1) They are generally available in every country where MSX has been sold
2) You can get them in at least three different colors (red, black and white
are the most common ones), which matches exactly the number of signals on our
ring.
Below, you can find a proposal based on Patrick Lina's initial drawing. I
leave it up to Maarten ter Huurne to translate the signal names into the ones
used by his protocol.
When using this proposal, you can connect black to black, white to white and
red to red. This makes it virtually impossible to connect the wires in the
wrong manner.
