A: I only have a SVI328 so the ports are at different locations but I am
still interested.

B: 3 metre Db9 extension leads are available, all we would need is a
suitable wired adaptor (this may be ok for connection between two computers
only), the computer with the adaptor could be programmed as the host and
the other one as the receive if required.

C: Is there any thought to generating (or recieving RS232) even at a set
baud rate from an IBM or other? (I confess to not following every mail on
the subject).


(My expander has a RS232 card, but with that model we had serial
communications under CPM but I have not found any under basic)
