Of course, that's why I use the Moonsound. I could use the PC instead
(which has much better sound/music software). It just is not possible
to use the MSX to edit or create samples needed for Moonsound.

Sorry, that would not work. The MSX cannot handle a 44kHz (8/16bit)
(mono/stereo) datastream. IMHO, to build a high quality sampling card
one would need:
- a dedicated CPU
- lots of buffer RAM
- ADC/DAC+filters
- some "glue" components
- some time + $$ for development
