Hmmm,
If ASCII would make a new MSX-computer, it would have to fit the demands
of the customer of today, which is:
- 3D video
- 3D audio
- xxx megs of memmory
- xxx gigs of harddisk (if we suppose that the new MSX would not be a
gameconsole)
- CD-Rom/DVD-support
Problem is that with those specs it will be hardly (read im-) possible to
be backwards compatible with our beloved MSX-system.
Furthermore, what is the point of showing someone who is thinking of a new
system, the best of an prehistoric system. Just to show how good MSX-2 is?
And for V9990, it is an obsolete chipset.
But.....
If we could convince ASCII to invest in a new MSX-model, then everything
can and must be used to make them do so.
