Well, DO IT!! I have read the discussion for a while now and I don't
understand why you haven't tried Meridian yet. It is FREE and you can
download it at the FUNET-ftp-site......

You will need an MSX2 with DOS2 and at least 1Mb-memory......It supports
MSX-MIDI, but also the interface of the MUSIC Module......

Thanx to the 'deltasteptiming' you can create 4/4, 6/8 or whatever you
like.....

The problem is at the moment, there is no manual yet.....The possibilities
are enormous, you just have to figure them out yourselves....Tip: USE A
MOUSE and while playing, press BOTH buttons at the same time, you will get
nice menus and you can edit while playing the songs......Also, the
record-functions work fine for me.....Although some keyboards do give
problems.....The whole program isn't bugfree yet.....We're working on a new
release which should be much more stable.....
