Thanks. I was aware of this option. It is also possible to show the name of the parent a column This is the approach that I have taken which is very useful but it doesn't do everything that I need - specifically to be able to a) mark the Parent as done from the To Do view b) adjust the properties of the parent from the To Do view.
Have just thought of another approach that might be easier to implement... If you select the parent in the Outline view and then switch to the To Do view, the Property panel continues to show the properties of the Parent. Would it be possible to have a Jump to Parent hotkey or a right click option which changes the property panel to show you to the Parent whilst keeping you in the To Do view. If the Property panel had a Done tick box (which I think would be a good idea anyway - see my previous posting about marking blocks of items as done) then this would meet my underlying requirement. Note: the jump to parent option in the Outline view would also be useful. Ecco had this - Ctrl + Page up. Used this a lot.
