If it's just for one person, I use my Dell Axim, but you want to show it
to a few people on a portable dvd player, thats different.

Thats a good idea. Is there a way to play a DVD right from the drive on
the backend and view it on the front end then? Or does it need to be
ripped first?

I would too. I'd rather see a project like this get better and better,
rather than sink a bunch of cash into a closed unit.
