Keep your chin up, Shannon! Remember, here in a few weeks all those clients should be coming around for pedicures again! This is why you will need to NON STOP promote for the next 6 months!!! Promote when you're busy to fill when you're not, and keep on promoting right through the slow times. It will eventually level out. Congrats on your one year, and on all the great feedback you are getting! I am insanely busy, but mine is because ALL of my hand clients are getting feet/toes done too. The sun is just starting to peek out here for our short summer in WA, and everyone went "EEK!" when they saw their feet... LOL... So yes, I am busy, but I think it is regional.

The receptionist calls all new clients after a week to find out how their service was and everyone raves about the pedis and manis I do. I always take the appropriate amount of time, am on time, never rush and do a good polish job. My question is, is everyone else super busy and should I start looking for another salon, OR is it slower across the board and I should be thankful I have such an awesome job with an awesome boss in a fantastic building. I am also the only nail tech so I get all the business.
