Diana, Lynnette, Pati, You have said a lot here.? I know that I am always giving things away a little nail art here a?repair there.? ?Give them their first pink and white on the house it all benifits you one way or the other.? but..?They always need to know that it?is on the house this time..??but if someone walked in and expected me to hand it over I am sure it would be a problem.? ?I know that I have a client that came in and got 2or3 repairs? I walked up front ad handed the slip to desk and went on to my next client,? She finished drying and walked out without paying.? The desk girl said something to her and she said it was" just a repair" and there isnt any charge and walked out.? The next time I had to?be very diplomatic and let her know? ?that I fix things every two weeks during a fill but when you break or chew or whatever a week out it is on you. The biggest problem is getting the point across without offending someone or embarassing them.? That is my big challenge because I am? mostly an ABC-123 take it or leave it this is how it is ?kinda gal.?? Dawn [email protected]

Started thinking who I give away free services to. All grandma's little granddaughters, i will polish their nails for free, Grandma always tips me. I barter with a relative, give my daughter free stuff, which is only about 3 times a year. Like Pati, do that little free stuff for clients, and they always take care of me either by a little extra, food or Starbucks!! And the biggest give away of all, all co-workers get free bling toes, and my business has BOOMED, you can't even believe how it has worked!!!!! Cheaper than advertising, target area, advertising with a BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like I said before, if I give a free service, what DO I get out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!! By Dawn's on words, it is MY choice, not the client. diana from indiana --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NailTech" group.
