I use CND Cuticle Away on every client and remove it with water via spray bottle as that deactivates the chemical reaction. If they have gnarly cuticle then I let it sit on there a minute or three and get great results.

She had definite feelings that any kind of product on the nail could interfere with shellac bonding. For the past year I have been using a cuticle remover, and I'm trying it without now just to see if there is a difference, I just use my tool on the dry nail.
