I posted about this earlier today, but it seems not to have shown up on the list. I just went to a Shellac class locally. The educator definitely recommended against using cuticle remover, and water.....I believe because she thought it would interfere with product bonding. She did say if it was a client with a lot of cuticle to break out the "heavy tool" and then showed a bottle of CND cuticle remover. I've been using the method you recomend Holly, with no problems, but thought I'd try hers too and see if there is a difference.
