When using Cuticle Remover I remove it with water from a spray bottle so the water exposure to the nail is minimized. I use Cuticle Eraser at the end with Solar Oil after the Shellac is applied. To better understand why not to soak in a bowl of water, I encourage you to be sure to watch at least slide 3-7 of Doug Schoon's Brain when it re-opens in May!!

I too use the CND Cuticle eraser (remover) for all manicures too. Trying to stay away from oil until the application is complete so as to not compromise the application process. I remove old Shellac, apply solar oil, file nails, apply cuticle remover, do cuticle work, apply Almond Scrub, send them to wash and scrub with a brush, use Scrubfresh, and apply new shellac. Then solar oil and massage. The cuticle remover works great and no pain for anyone... :) Michelle Cordes, Owner/Licensed Nail Technician The Nail Spa in Silverdale, Washington "The spa for your hands and feet since 1997" www.michellecordes.com From: Anna Z-James <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Mon, April 11, 2011 11:13:29 PM Subject: NailTech:: Cuticles from hell Okay so I know we are supposed to do a dry manicure on our clients prior to application of the shellac or gelish...however I have a few clients that have cuticles from hell...in just 1.5 weeks they have more cuticle then nail growth doing a dry manicure is painful for both me and the client...I tried wet manicures but bad idea ended up with product malfunctions to the 10th power with bubbles and pealing and so much more....Please anyone have any suggestions for the cuticles from hell clients?
