Wendy, read closer.. it says IF the legislation is NOT passed - the
board NOT eliminated - the manicurist and esthetician licenses will
not be changed.. they said if the bill passed, the entire board
would be dissolved and let the buyer beware.. if it fails and the
board is retained, there will be changes to the school, educator,
cosmo, barber and other licenses, but NOT nails and este's..
so many double negatives its very confusing..
pass this bill - board and ALL licensing goes bye-bye
fail the bill - many changes but not to the nail or esthetician license

I feel your pain! I am surprised they didn't use CT as a shining
example of how licensing is not needed. ( I, too, am being facetious!)
