This is not frozen but it goes over so very well, it can be used as a salad or dessert. It is cool and refreshing. I have served this on many occasions and always get many compliments. PRETZEL SALAD 2 cups pretzel, crushed 3/4 cup margarine, melted 3 teaspoons sugar 1 (8 oz) cream cheese 1 cup sugar 1 medium container cool whip 2 (3 oz) boxes strawberry Jell-O 2 cups boiling water 2 (10 oz) boxes frozen strawberries Mix together pretzel, 3 teaspoons sugar and 3/4 cup margarine; pat in bottom of 9X13 inch pan to make a crust. Bake at 400º for 8 minutes. Mix cream cheese, sugar and cool whip together. Spread on pretzel mixture. Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water and add strawberries; let stand 10 minutes. Spoon on top of cream cheese mixture and refrigerate until firm. Cut in squares to serve. If using as a salad, I place on a lettuce leaf, as dessert just on a dessert plate. I normally make mine the night before serving.
