1 large sweet bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

longer.
Serves 6 to 8.

Here is the recipe I use for strawberry pie, I have made it for the
last 30
springs of my life!

Strawberry Pie
One 10" baked and cooled pie crust.
2 c. crushed strawberries
1 c. sugar
4 T cornstarch
1/3 c. water
1 T. lemon juice
Fresh whole berries
Whipped cream

Simmer crushed berries 3 minutes. Mix corn starch with water, and add
to simmering berry mixture, along with the sugar. Cook until clear,
stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and add lemon juice. Cool
completely. Arrange fresh whole berries in cooled pie shell. Spoon
cooled mixture over them and refrigerate. Top with whipped cream, and
garnish with fresh berries if desired.

This is absolutely the best strawberry pie ever!
