Hi Frank, The atr was pin 3 hot but was switched to pin 2 hot along with the mci jh 24 a long time ago. I was going to bring that up in the earlier post but didn't want to complicate the matter. Hey Orange - My Series 1E has unbalanced outputs and doesn't like driving anything that is unbalanced with pin 3 in the xlr being signal +. The buss level drops when patched into such an input. This is because doing this is basically shorting the output of the desk to ground. Do you know for sure that both your desk and deck are on the same page of the pin 2 / pin 3 story?
