Bloated, cumbersome, inflexible, poorly designed, inefficient,
crash-prone GUI for an OS. Popular for no better reason than the fact
that it is popular.

Justification? Just use it, for heaven's sake. It is, as my old maths
lecturer used to say, "Intuitively Obvious".     :-))

-43 words. :)  I'd be more vulgar, but this *is* a public list...;-)

I'm amazed at how many ppl tell me they had to reformat their hdd and
reinstall windoze because something messed up.  I have NEVER had any
reason to do this on my Amiga, nor have I heard of this being done
regularly on any other OS.

Chris, I'm afraid this *is* why you get the problems you describe....
