It's become a running joke at work that PCs just don't like me, and do
weird things when I'm around.

Case in point: If my computer crashes, when I boot it up again, the
Novell Netware Login window won't come up. It'll just hang. I have to
hard reset it (software Ctrl-Alt-Del don't work), boot it up IN SAFE
MODE (which takes about 15 mins for some reason I haven't quite
figured out yet), then reboot it in normal mode. If I don't go to safe
mode, Netware Login will freeze... and this is ONLY on my computer. :)
