Interesting. I've given StrICQ a few tries over the past months but
wasn't able to register an UIN (it's just endlessly trapped with
'Creating new UIN'). I had thought that I was behind a firewall or
something and it didn't work because of that.
Have you bothered giving AmChat a go?
Tried running it, but it's really not of much use without an UIN. :)
But damn, it *looks* smooth, with all the beautiful graphic icons.
Looks far better than StrICQ, IMO. It's really gorgeous. I hope I'll
be able to get it working someday, it looks really pretty.
