Only if it is at a rate it can run at. I've seen lots of people setting
port rates at 28.8k because that is their modem's speed. I think all
modems will just shruug and refuse to talk to such a port.

Iwould think it is quite impossible. With '060 it's either borderline or
won't work.

Right. There eally are only ywo choices--57600 or 38400, no others.
