As I said, all those mails are stored on the PC - you are much more reliant
on the 'art of communication by email' whereas, like most businessmen, it
becomes a secondary tool after the phone and live conversation.

Eh? NC3 was never going to sell more than NC2, unless I had some kind of
nifty third-party deal lined up at the time - perhaps some kind of BoXer
license deal which was talked about for the last two years! Unfortunately
the BoXer, so far, never materialised :-/

NC2 sold significantly well, compared to NC3, unfortunately (which is, of
course, one of the reasons why I went back to uni!).

The main difference, sales wise, between NC2 and NC3 was that NC2 sales were
much more spread over a period of time, whereas NC3 sales were predominantly
within the period Oct 1999 to Dec 1999, when most were sold to NC2 users
upgrading (for a low price) to v3.

Well, I don't understand why Markus claimed this then, which would be very
strange indeed. Markus was quite assuring that the reason why a deal wasn't
so forthcoming, was down the fact that you were demanding (in his words)
more than twice the amount they wanted to offer.
