Hi all,

I have recently been working on 4000 to get its Internet programs up to the same
standard as I already have on my 1200 but have come up against a problem with AmFTP
v1.92.

First - background: I have a GVP I/O extender which I use to connect my modem to at a
speed of 230400 which is called Port 1. All serial info should be being redirected to
this port via the GVP Serial prefs program.

However when I try to load AmFTP up it brings up the message that I need to have a
TCP/IP stack open, when I clearly have as I am connected to the net atm.

So its obvious that for whatever reason AmFTP isnt seeing Genesis, but how can I make
it see it so I can use the darned thing??

And before you say it - no, I wont use mFTP, its useless compared to AmFTP. (Sorry if
thats harsh - but its the truth IMO).

TTFN
Sam.
