Well GVPser.device certainly doesnt show up in my devs drawer. Geneis doesnt see it
(but uses Serial port and the redirection prefs proggy). Maybe another visit to GVP
is required, though I went there not that long ago and downloaded the latest software.

And what do I benefit from doing this?

Oh, and there's two free ports. looking at the board from the back:

----------- ----- Parallel port (left)
--------- ---- (9 pin male port - serial?) (right)
----- ----- 9 pin female port (left)
---- ---- 9 pin male port (modem) (right)
So Im assuming its the bottom left one we are talking about??
