The problem does not concern whether we should quote the
previous post. The problem is about where in the message
body the previous post should be quoted in a reply. Your
post was was bottom-posted. My post is top-posted. We are
dealing with a request in which we are being asked to do
top-posting. BTW, quoting a previous post in a reply does
not minimize bandwidth. To *minimize* bandwidth we should
quote no portion of the previous post in a reply. To *reduce*
bandwidth we should trim irrelevant portions of a post being
replied to.
