hmmmmmmmmm?
well i must say this is an odd one.
first let me note that as a screen reader user myself, i really do not care
which way the messages are posted, i can always turn off the reader after i
have gotten the he data i want. there is no standard for what works best with
speech, and it is far from respectful to remove that element of individual
choice.
second, you can insure that you put your comments above the
original message.
at least you can in nettamer, and i would be surprised if this could not be
done with any text editor, if you are having to paste anyway.
very clearly, nettamer says,
"on 09/28/2001 [EMAIL PROTECTED] says"
or perhaps even "original message,"
both of which are big hints.
put your comments above that. i have seen it done both ways, so would not
say that this is the only list that posts beneath. this is a user
preference.
some on the list post above, and others post below. still others split the
message writing in context. all of which are just fine!
you can and should make full use of your individual ability to read the
messages as you wish regardless of how others have chosen to write them.
just a thought, especially with so much of computing being homogenized.
