"reality"? -- its tempting to delve into the abstract but if you are
reading this, then ...
0. what are your expectations from "fosscomm" and do you want CMP or
are you happy with the current status quo?
1. where do you see this coalition going in terms of goals, activities, etc?
2. What direction and role do you see yourself playing, if any.

A larger part of this was covered at the first bangalore meet (do
check the archives please) but maybe those members not present at that
meet would like to voice themselves here on the list. So please
reflect your individual opinions,

Vickram, the carefully placed "commas" in the above sentence
notwithstanding, i'd like to add myself to the category of individuals
you deride here for trying to define some direction and goals (ala a
CMP) for fosscomm.in. Gee, thanks ! [/end self-deprecating attempt at
humor]

I actually like his idea a lot and using him as an analogy is not
right in the context of splitting the list. His idea is an instance of
someone walking the talk and for that reason alone would love to have
more threads like them as opposed to some threads where there is an
unspoken "its my way or the highway" attitude (very subtle fwiw) which
could just as easily be (mis)interpreted as enlightened self
interest[0].
