Good point. To me, the fact that we annonced a beta implies that we believe the API is
reasonable stable (as Apache APIs go :-). In fact, that was one of our criterion for
declaring a beta in the first place. But you have to be on the list to know this.
Our next beta should make a statement about API stability in the announcement letter to
let folks know they can begin writing modules to Apache 2.0 with confidence that their
efforts will not have to be tossed with the next release.
