I wish to thank all the idiots here who instead of answering questions
puffed up their chests and spanked the monkey by pretending to know
something ..

THe funny thing about windows .. it installs , all hardware on the
system works without doing anything ..

Load mandriva and the disk spins and spins and spins .. the wireless
doesn't work .. and haven't even taken the time to look at other stuff
.. but boy you can type on it <G>

So when you flatulant wind bags sit back and laugh about window ..
remember .. the worlds business is still being done on it .. not on
Linux.

Don't get me wrong .. i would love to use linux but if it doesn;t work
on my laptop/workstation then there is really no reason to keep it on
the disk .. just taking up room like a bad relative

But thanks to all the *helpful* suggestions

sympatico .. yeah .. right .. just like gw

Simple: Buy WindowsXP home or professional. Start the computer on CD
and by installing Windows format the hard disks to NTFS.
And your Mandriva installation swims to the heaven of penguins!
