[Newbie]total system-crash (conflict with VESA Fb?)

I see the same symptoms on RH7.1 on a SiS630 Chipset. There I made the experience that it crashes much less if you disable ACPI. But thnk also about an overheated processor. The more the graphic chip has to do in fb mode could cause some degrees more in the whole box. in my Big Tower I had to put my NIC in another slot because the graphic card has had a mad behaviour.
