Well, X 4.1.0-9 was my first try. It's a couple of weeks ago and I didn't keep my notes, so remembering is pretty difficult. With X 4, nothing worked at all. I wasn't able to start anything although I tried it really hard and with the knowledge of setting up X 4.1.0-9 on a newer machine with an envidia chipset. It seemed that the graphic card wasn't recognized the right way. Could it be that under X 4.1 something is messed up with AT24 and AT25? This is something I think to remember.
Oh, btw: I had the problem with the wrong pixels already on an earlier setup on the same machine with Debian potato, X 3.something. Any other hints / help than setting up 4.1?
