Hello again, it is a couple of weeks ago that I asked for the solution of my "disturbing pixels all over the screen"-problem. Now I collected all your help, took all my courage and changed the modelines not only a little bit. There are still _some_ few wrong pixels, but I can live with that. :-)
What I did: I commented out all modelines that were calculated by XF86 with debian woody (with which the computer runs right now) and filled in the modlines from an old SuSe 6.2.. Although they look pretty different (and X under SuSe works just with 8 bit instead of 16 bit), it really works out better. Well, next step will be to buy a new graphic-card with a little more memory than 2 MB, I think :-) Thanks to all the people who helped me!
