Well, Diamond Stealth Video 2500 isn't Video 2000! I took the SVGA-Server because it's the server which is recommended at www.xfree86.org for the Diamond Stealth Video 2000. And I don't have the problem that the server doesn't work at all, the only problems are the disturbing pixels. Or is there another reason why I should use the S3 Server? I'm sure my whole problem was solved years ago. But today, my card is about 5 years old an it's not possible to search in the archive in a really resonable way. Hope that someone remembers anyhow.
