Pulled the starter, it looks like a gear box in side. Covered in black grease and crude. The must be a bad or missing o ring near the spline gear. Its ammazing it ever worked with all the oil and crude on/in it. Armature looks ok will check continuity once I get the crude off it. I located a rebuild kit on line (http://www.motorcityreman.com/ 4brrekit.html) for $30 will give it a try.
