If I was younger, wealthier, etc... I'd go back to sportsman dirt racing or legends cars. A car with a bike engine is something I understand. The last time I drove a race car was years ago at Nazareth (before it closed) in a Busch car during practice. My lap times would have put me 23rd on the field. Big surprise, I don't like pavement racing. Other than an X-6 based drag bike I built, I've never wanted to race bikes.

Yeah, it's much cheaper for me to go race someone else's carts for the night, even if they are governed. I looked into autocross one year, that's a ton of money and time too. -Kyle On Fri, Jan 29, 2010 at 11:12 PM, Dennis Hammerl <[email protected]> wrote: I raced karts in WKA light A for years. I still miss it. There are three tracks around here that run weekly during the season. Best I ever did was fifth in points one year. The format is three heats / 12 laps@ motocross style. The high cost of the 100cc class cars made for smaller turnouts along the way and now it's almost all four stroke karts. That's as much fun as kissing your sister. Big thing now is 600 sprints. Big $$ racing (at least after karts) Even karts are waaay costly now. I thought 1500 for a rolling frame was salty. > > > > ________________________________ From: Kyle Munz > <[email protected]> >To: [email protected] >Sent: Sat, January 30, 2010 12:00:28 AM > >Subject: Re: [Nighthawk Lovers] Helmet story... > > >>I'm not that serious about it.
