Be aware that, though the 416 and 418 models fit the 750, the pre-load setting adjustment (hex key type) is located at the top of the shock, just under the top bolt.
The top of the shock, the bolt, and the adjuster, is covered by the plastic cowl panels on the 750, requiring removal of those for access to the adjuster. So the shocks are not as readily adjustable as the 412s which have the stock step-type adjuster on the bottom of the shock and can be adjusted with the special wrench that came with the bike's tool kit. Not a problem if you set the pre-load once and forget it, but if you plan to use the adjustability feature frequently, it could get to be a hassle. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
