Subject: Re: [Nighthawk Lovers] Clutch starting to act up

the sight glass was completely unusable when I first started working on it
today. the decayed plastic was caked on it, I had to carefully peel away
several layers of it before I could see in. But it's not leaking. I guess
that's what's important. I was going to try and bleed the line according to the
Clymer guide's instructions but I don't have a clear tube or hose to fit the
bleeder valve, and I could not loosen the bleeder valve. It's seized up too.
I'll hit it with some WD40, perhaps that will help after it soaks in for a few
hours... So I can get a mightvac at any parts store? I'll have to check it out
tomorrow. Thanks again.

If you do it yourself get one of those mightyvacs, that line is almost
impossible to bleed without it. Btw, check the sightglass on the front. That's
where mine was leaking from.
