the sight glass was completely unusable when I first started working on it  
today. the decayed plastic was caked on it, I had to carefully peel away 
several  layers of it before I could see in. But it's not leaking. I guess 
that's what's  important. I was going to try and bleed the line according to 
the Clymer guide's  instructions but I don't have a clear tube or hose to fit 
the bleeder valve, and  I could not loosen the bleeder valve. It's seized up 
too. I'll hit it with some  WD40, perhaps that will help after it soaks in 
for a few hours... So I can  get a mightvac at any parts store? I'll have to 
check it out tomorrow. Thanks  again.

If you do it yourself get one of those mightyvacs, that line is almost  
impossible to bleed without it. Btw, check the sightglass on the front. That's  
where mine was leaking from.
