Everything but the pilot/slow speed screw is supposed to be screwed in
until "seated," if I'm not mistaken. Your main needle jet/emulsion tube
(the big one) DEFINITELY is a "tighten until seated" as it isn't an
adjustable jet. Anything else that was installed in the fuel bowl is that
way too, I think.

Pilot screws are three turns out? I haven't done bike carbs before now, so
I'm not sure. Most of the VW carbs I did were 4 turns (really fine threads)
or 2 turns (not so fine threads, newer carbs).
