Who wants what gets worked out before the month begins. We allocate blow money for eachother too. How you spend your blow money is entirely up to you, that's why it's called "blow money". I like to let mine pile up and purchase large items, she likes to blow hers the first wknd of every month at the mall. We can't criticize the other though. I'm not saying that buying the bike was a bad purchase, but if this is something the guy does then set aside $1000 in a column for bike projects. When he sells one it can go towards the next project. No budget is perfect for everyone, but communication prior to large purchases is what keeps blow ups like this from happening.
