Have you ridden a bike before, or is this your first? I ask this because inline
4 motorcycle are HP motors not torque motors. My 750 didn't like running below
3K RPM and it was normal behavior. If your experienced and are sure it is not
running as expected, you may have an air leak. That would be my first guess if
the carbs are clean. Spark is easy to check, so is compression. Also make sure
your battery is good, clean the air filter, make sure the petcock is not
clogged, etc.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] No power/ stalling in low rpm. Any ideas?

1984 700 s

Issue: try to pull away, and motor sputters at low rpm. No response or power
and stalling until above 3k rpm. Not an issue when the bike first starts.

Carbs have recently been cleaned(by my brother not me, maybe he changed
something)
He also afterwards took it to a shop to have a diagnostic run but they were
useless and just said clean the carbs.

Maybe electrical?
Any ideas on what to look for or anyone had this before? Just looking for ideas
in the next few days before I get to the bike and start checking it out myself
