Correct starting technique is choke on, press starter button, do not touch throttle. Let idle till rpms come up, let out some choke, either ride away with choke on, or idle and adjust choke lever till it is off. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

Im new to this so I apologize for my lack of knowledge of terminology. What's the proper way of using it to start? I turn it on with out engaging it, and it idles under 1k and then sputters out, so I tried engaging it after it was already started. Instead of sputtering out it dies as soon as I engage it. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
