Yes, the uni filter did the hesitation after the 2 mile ride. I even left the 
choke on for that 2 miles. Thinking itd help warm up a bit faster. The bike ran 
swimmingly with about 1/4 choke. But when I got home I shut the choke off 
completely and snapped the throttle a few times. That's when I got the 
hesitation. My idle, with oem filter is a hair above 1k. With the uni it was a 
hair under 1k. 

I always use about half choke to start the bike. Depending on the warmup, I 
might take it up or down a bit. Never letting the revs get above 2k is what 
I've been doing lately. Adjust choke to match. The oem filter hesitates after 
I've shut off the choke for warmup but before I hit the road. I rarely leave 
the choke on while moving. Always shut it off before I click into first or I'd 
probably forget it's on.
