If the carbs are completely dry for a while, the seals will shrink and leak a bit. This may go away as the o-rings naturally "rehydrate" with fresh gas. Allen told me this a few years ago when I experienced this problem and he was right. This year I'm starting them up every week or two and all is well. It's also reminded me how fast gas evaporates from a "closed" gas tank, as now I'm checking.
