I am already at legislative plaza quiet often as is so I am more than happy to bring this up next time I drop by the legislative plaza. It may take a few phone calls from constituents. Apparently, there is a form for the government in question to fill out and a citizen/Special interest group form. If we can get a vote with NLUG to see if the rest of NLUG (or at least a majority) would be okay formally endorsing a request for Google to consider Nashville, this would be step one.. I am still looking into this beta program Google has set up to see why they even need/want government approval. If the rest of NLUG is not okay with this then as individuals those who want to see this happen would have to fill out forms separately . Regardless, those interested will need to come up with a compelling reason for why Google should choose us. I was thinking about recycling much of the propaganda that the pro Convention City crowd churned out. After all, they spent a million dollars on it. That propaganda has to be useful for some good and intelligent purpose, no? I'll post my sales pitch to why Google should choose Nashville after work.
