Who are you talking about? I don't see any heavy reactions from anyone I
know for their node.js-related work. Pull request trolls ain't the
community.

He is not damaging the company. He is damaging node.js core trying to save
company's image. I agree about firing 3 times though.

I'm a tiny bit of a core developer from the times when core was kinda
awful, currently working a lot on node.js modules. Have deep respect for
all node.js maintainers (including Ryan, and including Ben), one of them
even made me change codestyle with a certain open letter, huh. Know nobody
personally though. Not affiliated with any company who is making business
around commercial node.js support. Had a good opinion about Joyent because
they didn't interfere with node in the past, although that opinion is now
changed.

Interests are: to see node.js core developing as fast and good as it was 2
weeks ago, and prevent similar things in the future as much as possible.

The StrongLoop's battle is a battle over trademarks right now. It is
perfectly reasonable request from their position, that said, I don't care
about legal stuff much.

So i have a proposal too. Joyent is stewarding Node, and they did a great

And how that controlling board is supposed to influence certain offensive
blog posts from certain companies?.
