Keith Turner commented on ACCUMULO-1378:
----------------------------------------

The ability to get up and running with a single node Accumulo instance in a few
minutes would be extremely useful. Setting up hadoop, zookeeper, and then
Accumulo for a single node instance takes a while.

MiniAccumulo is one option for achieving this. I think this will lead to adding
complexity to MiniAccumuloCluster. For example people will want to be able to
configure the amount of memory tservers use and make tservers use native maps.
Maybe this is worthwhile because of the benefit.

What other options are there?

> Currently, the MiniAccumuloCluster assumes it should always create the
> directory structure and throws an exception if the passed in directory has
> anything in it.
